shari I forgot to hit submit after spending ages on a reply, don't that annoy me  so cut short.
Love your stock ant. I have dug 3, mid summer no problems and 2 I let settle in the pots and trunk chopped, one is thriving with new branches and leader the other still going but not happy with outcome.
I live in the Latrobe Valley which is surrounded by them, I went for a drive the other day and came across some that have been through hell.
I will take some pics before I dig to be sure that they will make good bonsai for sure for sure, Like yours Ant some have natural shari.
PS Mid summer, what Summer!
AC/DC died with Bon, And I am on the hwy to hell too...

I am looking forward to the bending process to get it to a presentable Literati Ant. Think it might require some trunk splitting to get it where you want it. :?:

Hi Antonio,

On the last photo they look very good -- ready to work on during the coming season I guess?

I am looking forward to the bend :) Not enough people bending pines on this forum :aussie:

You are building up an impressive collection of pines there too.

Cheers.

Hey mate nice to meet you here ! Some wood will need to be taken out by carving to bend low. I think it will be OK higher up but have to wait and see once we get the carver in there. I am looking forward to the next few years on this one too ! Thanks mate :tu:
