PJ Fig repot

Post by PeterH »

This is the only Fig that survived my 2003 move to a colder part of Canberra.

It was overdue for a repot.

250mm high.

Peter

That is lovely Peter! So is that really only 1inch tall :o
Did you start it from a cutting? How old is it? Also what size pot did you start it off in and could you take me through the time frame for reducing the root system.
Does it get repotted regularly?...as I imagine it would fill the pot quickly.
I guess I am asking for the "how to" process as I want to give it a go!
Sorry for all the Q's Peter.
Cheers, Dario.

If you read again, it says 250mm, not 25 mm - so it's 10" tall ;)

Mad tree Peter. I made the mistake in showing my wife this and now she wants one. Any suggestions on how to make one of these babies?

Just get hold of a plant and start growing one. Quite quick to develop. Just feed well and at least a bit of water now and then, clip regularly. Keep frost free over winter and you'll have one in a few years. Easy :!:
