There's no better time .... than this time(!) to get to Melbourne and the Yarra Valley?! Maffra isn't too far away - it's ONLY a bit over 2hrs drive .... and belief me …. it is and you are - worth it!
The other option is to drive up on Saturday and spend the night in the Valley, great B&B’s and restaurants too.
