Re: Lime Sulfer? Say what @#$%!
i havnt had problems either
i did some extensive dead wood work on a tree about 2 months ago removing a lot of live wood and the next day painted with lime sulphur and the tree showed no ill effects at all, it even rained on the tree the day after and the way it sits in the pot the dead wood gets wet when ever i water. the tree in fact is growing prolifically now.

Paul W, glad to hear that your crabapple hasn't suffered from the Lime Sulphur treatment. Perhaps you are correct, it could have been the weather that has helped. Onya!

Re: Lime Sulfer? Say what @#$%!
I saw Yates Lime Sulfur in the store today however it is said to treat pests on trees..
I think it's for fruiting trees etc.. is this the right one to treat our trees to turn them white and protect / preserve the wood?
If there are better ways to treat and preserve the wood can someone please detail.
Thank you
