Shohin sized benji

Post by NathanM »

Hey guys,
While I was taking pics of swampies for Jake, I decided to take a few others as well. This tre I've for 9 or 10months I think. I found an old pic of it thsi arvy, so here it is!
Totally unstyled and tiny not long after I got it. I had put it into a big balck pot, and that is all.

After I'd put some movement into it on the same day.

I see you have those worms that eat the bark in a spiral up the tree at your place too :D Plenty of them here!

That's where you are wrong Glenda. I'm sick of mis-information being thrown around! It's clearly the sign of a curl grub infestion, where do you think they got their name from? It's a curl up the trunk not a spiral. Sheeesh! :D

Nice Benji Nathan, shall make for a great tree in time. :)
Regards, Mitchell.

Oops! My bad. I had read curl grubs were in the soil and eat the roots! The grubs at my place leave indentations in the bark that look just like these ones. Just as well it is a ficus, as they do heal in time with figs.
