Potensi Collection and Thankyou- Image Intense

Post by eliass »

Hi all although I have created a thread about recently taking an interest in bonsai. I thought I would show some photos of my potensi collection.

I also wanted to thank everybody of the forum for having so much information accessible to a beginner. I have spent the last few days reading all the post I could ... let’s just say I went as far back as 2010.

So here goes.

I should state for the record whilst I have a fair idea of the direction I would like to take each tree I have been far too nervous to do any serious pruning or wiring... I don’t think reading how to do something is enough. So I can’t wait to do some classes and go to some meetings.

A good collection for starting bonsai. The plaited Maple is interesting.

I love the pines.
You are right, joining a club and taking some classes helps a lot in helping you to know where to from where you are at presently. Good luck.

Wholeheartedly agree with the others comments - great start to a collection. If only I had ...... Well you all know the story - you should start with a few trees with a bit of size and not sticks.
The best advice ever is to join a local club.
Good luck
