There are a number of reasons why plums sometimes have stunted and curled leaves. The two most common (in my experience anyway) is getting a whiff of Round-up, or aphids or aphid bourne diease. Either way the leaves should start growing properly as the season progresses.

Hey Rawhide,
My pet disease at the moment, which I'm seeing absolutely everywhere, even where it doesn't exist, is ammonium toxicity.
Not saying it is, but I thnk it is. If that makes sense.

Ammonium toxicity????
Do you mean Ammonia?? or Aluminium??? toxicity
Rawhide says he's been giving them Charlie Carp but it would have to be pretty strong to cause Nitrogen (ammonia) toxicity, esp in pots. Aluminium toxicity shouldn't affect plants in potting mix either - as far as I know only a problem in highly acid soils and only for Al sensitive plants.

I'd back off on everything, and just water with plain water. giving a dose of confidor or something of that nature wouldn't hurt either. then wait and see
