Hey again all,

Just thought I would start getting around to sharing my trees. This is a Willow Leaf I've had in my possession for over a year now. When purchased it was a little over 1 foot (30.48 cm) tall. I thought you all would like to see how it has progressed in my care.

Here it was when it was purchased:

I then chopped the tree:

It backbudded very well:

So I decided to do some work on the awful roots (before):

After root work:

All potted up:

It then grew like mad and here it was after that growth:

I noticed how bad the lean was and it bothered me. I considered a windswept style, but then changed my mind. See the bad lean:

So I then decided to chop it way back and make it a shohin. Here it is as of a few weeks ago:

And here is the tree as of today:

Nice Ryan - it has good taper and will look great in a few years. Those root were wild - they looked just like a pot bound chinese elm :palm: Do you have any other types of fig over there in US that we also grow over here ?

Thanks Tony! The roots really were awful, and there are still more tubers under the soil that need to go. So I'll do that in a few months, it's becoming winter here though.

I do also have Ficus m. and Ficus benjamina, and I'm currently looking into Ficus Burt-Davyii.
