Hi ALL!

Some cool info that i came across on youtube is the use of Willow Leaves for rooting hormone.
If you dont already know try this, i am as we speak.

Method:
Strip about two hand fulls of willow leaves off a healthy tree.
Get a Chinese container of some other plastic container, sealable.
Place leavs in container.
Pour boiling water or just normal water in container bout half fill your container.
Seal and let steep for 24hrs.
the dip your cutting in and use like u would any other rooting compound.

HOW COOL.

It's called willow water, use the serch function, there is plenty of info right here.
I've been using its great.
I put long cuttings in a bucket and use the water to water new Yamadori.
I have some 2ltr coke bottle size thick cuttings of tortured willows going.

Hahahaha i watched a vid on youtube where this chick is doing fig cuttings via this method, but her language was rough as guts lol typical aussie chick.
