Hi

My Juniper seems to be very slow and i would like some help on if i should just leave it be or should i been trying something.

Here are some pictures of it at the current day. Please tell me if triming or training in some way or other things i need to do.

i'm only a newbie myself but my knowledge of Junipers if that there are slower growing than many other species like maples, elms etc.

Just keep feeding it etc. The alternative is to put it into the ground to thicken the trunk and then you will have to dig up and repot which has it's own set of pro's and con's.

i'm sure you get some better advice than mine on here but just thought I would comment.

Junipers are a reasonable slow growth tree, they can take may years to achieve a reasonable trunk girth and will be even slower in a pot or if trimmed.

the Process we use to make and create Bonsai all will slow down a trees growth, that is how we control the growth of trees when finished. Unless the tree is developed and in "maintenance" mode, then try to limit the work done on the tree.

As for this one, Wht do you want to see for the tree tree?
Something bigger ? Then you will have to let it grow out.
