Just to share some progress of this stump. Like my hawthorn raft and a couple of my big olive stumps, this one was supplied by some credible members of Ausbonsai. So some of you may be familiar with this one.

Work done:
1- carving
2-airlaying most of branches
3- rewiring this winter

I like this a lot Kvan. A quince is a wonderful subject. Maybe we will see it in flower one day

Bodhi, I will definitely post new pics when it is in flower this spring (lets hope it will as I fed it with too much N fert. It may just shoot up leaves this year).
Yet, I got a few pics of it in flower last spring just a few weeks after repotted it into a grow box.

There are quite a few buds and leaves on this one. Is it a bit too late to repot?

I would be a bit cautious repotting now as the tree has put in a fair amount of energy growing those flowers. I would wait till mid summer now as that should give the tree enough time to recoup some energy. you dont want to lose stock like this mate, its a corker and developing well.
