Winter is the perfect time for contemplating spring tasks in the up and coming months for us bonsai nuts. Here is one of my Black Pines that have just undergone its first season of decandling aka "needle therapy". Still a couple of seasons to go to improve overall branch density.

I will be repotting this tree in spring and am looking for some pot suggestions. Any ideas or comments will be most welcomed.

Hi mwkoi
Nice pine ya have there. I would consider a shallower rectangle without such a large flared rim or a rounded rectangular or a scalloped corner rectangular.

I like that tree

For some reason I find it very appealing

I would suggest something similar to the pot it's in maybe, but darker clay

Nice little tree mate! I think it would work well in a medium depth drum pot. As Nathan said an appealing little tree.

Lovely tree. I think the square edges of this pot need to go. Definitely a darker brown, deeper, with smoother edges.
