tree c and e - celtis?
the bark looks like it is pretty old, celtis can get this on aged trunks.

clue time -
The first two, "C" and "D" are hawthorns.
Tree "E" is not a hawthorn but does have thorns.

more clues,
All three trees are from the genus - crataegus
"C" and "D" are c.monogyna (common hawthorn)
"E" has smaller more delicate foliage and I believe much nicer autumn colour.

Crataegus phaenopyrum is a species of hawthorn commonly known as Washington Hawthorn or Washington Thorn?

A species which I like very much, tiny foliage which I feel is very well suited to bonsai.
