Interview with Grant.
A few months' ago Grant did a demonstration for the Central Coast Bonsai Club. I took the opportunity to ask for an interview. He was too kind to say no. Thanks, Grant.

Thanks Penny and Grant
Very interesting and informative reading.
Maybe some of the same questions could be answered by our 20+ bonsai enthusiasts.

Re: Interview with Grant.
Nice post Penny,
You should have asked who is his favorite potter.
You should have asked who is his favorite potter.

Q: Why are we all here?
A: Because we are not all there.

Re: Interview with Grant.
Good one Grant. You are fast!
I hear on the grapevine that Roger is going to make more pots. If it's true, I look forward to seeing more of them. They are really special.
Hi Gerard. Have you used any of my pots yet? I'd like to see any photos when you have them.
Hi Fae. I prefer to do the interviews face-to face. That way, it comes dtraight from the horse's mouth so to speak (no disrespect intended). And so many interesting asides tend to crop up. For example, Ray Nescy used to work at glazing pots - casseroles, etc. Andrew Ward did a wonderful demo at the Newcastle Club last Saturday. Anyone who has been to that hall knows just how cold it can get. Andrew's demo went for more than three hours and we were frozen to our seats.......literally. It was so interesting, we didn't realise how long it was. I will write it up and have photos to show but that's not as good as being there. He called in yesterday and made a few pots and I hope to post some photos of that too.Andrew will be giving a demo tonight at the Central Coast Club and I hope to interview him then.
Penny.

Re: Interview with Grant.
Good to see that others are also doing interviews of bonsaiists in Oz. Nice one Penny and Grant.
I also heard the rumours that Roger was going to get his hands onto clay again next month.
I wish him well in his resolve.
If anything comes of it, I'm sure he will post some pics of what comes out of the kiln!

Re: Interview with Grant.
I'm looking forward to seeing your pics. I'm still hibernating until the weather is 10deg warmer.
I've managed to badger quite a few people into being interviewed - thank you all for being so gracious - and I haven't forgotten that you promised too Clinton.
Penny.

Re: Interview with Grant.
I wouldn't expect too much from Roger - he can't even make one that's properly round yet. Or square. And he'll probably want to turn it into a table.
