Hi,

i have done the Sequoia giganteum but not Sequoiadendron sempervirens. I harvested the seed from trees in Beechworth vic.

All the trees in this familly seem easy to raise from seed.

Just planted them as usual (April or May) and they grew. Shallow tray of seed raising mix of some sort and transplanted them when big enough.

Haven't grown sempivirens but as Grant said, others are easy to germinate. Sow seed as normal and they should come up in spring.
