you could try puttin the Liquidamber in the fridge?
leaf colour can vary with temps.
would you risk it though?
:reading:

Nuce trees.
Strange that you do not get colour on the LA in melb?
Ar you near the water or is next to walls or garden that keeps it sheltered?

Hi John,

is your liquidamber an evergreen ?

They dont tend to colour up like the other varieties do.

Just a link to Liquidamber cultivars and plant information ( thanks wikipedia )

I was going to suggest giving it some time in the fridge as well, but Damian beat me to the suggestion !!

Years ago when I was growing orchids, I would put ice on the pots to force blooms, its certainly woth a try.

Great trees, thanks for sharing.

Regards,

Paul
