Leptospermum nitidum (Shiny Teatree) is endemic to the west and south of Tasmania (ie: the wet bits), where it grows slowly into a large, craggy shrub, usually ending up in later age with a thin "parachute" of foliage curving over the top, suspended by miriads of stalky twigs, (which is a direction I plan to take this tree during future styling).
This representation of the species is about 20 years old and stands about 60 cm high. The design is for an Australian look.
