This Salmon coloured Eucalyptus lives in my back yard. The previous owners were avid euc collectors and i have many different ones in my back yard. The Natives of all sorts that adorn my property are stunning, A Tuart of all things, (WA) but this one takes the cake and i have no idea what it is. The Salmon coloured bark is glorious and the creased effect even more so. I need a Euc expert to i.d this please.

P.S.. i know it is not a Salmon gum,no flowers and very different bark.

P.P.S..Our local Bulldozer operator who has lived here forever and clears for new roads and firebreaks etc also a known Euc expert commented that he has never seen one like this before.

Im NO expert, but from your pics if looks like the Angophora costata we have Sydney, lots of them in these parts with that coloured bark and the creases

I agree. Easiest way to tell will be checking if the leaves are opposite each other on the branch rather than alternating.
