Privet stumps

hi all, just a few pics of some privet i collected today,im quite happy with the thickness of the trunks, just hope they get alot of nice young shoots happening :tu:

Nice find Beatts. My motto is you should dig these things when they are available, just in case you lose the opportunity. After a good rest these should shoot all over the place and give you plenty to choose from.
Give them sufficient time to recover though.

Come spring you'll need to hack back these with the whipper snipper. Good luck!!

I have a fight going on in the back bonsai yard. My sumo 6 inch figs cuttings VS the 7 inch Privet stumps, even battle so far but the privets throw out growth quicker. I think the figs have something planned though. :)
