Hi all ,
Have recentaly been out to the riverina and dug up a few Black Pines .I found a small stand on a very rocky hillside,.There were also some smaller ones growing in the table drain ,these had been hit by the scrapers when they graded the dirt road. The soil was a rock hard baked clay. The plants came out like they were stuck in a paver. The good point was that they had very short tap roots.
Amongst the blue were a few lime green plants ,looked the same species the only differencs being the leaves were a little thicker. Also picked up a large gnarly blue, it was growing in a small dam beside a fenceline. the soil was like clay and luckily it came out in one huge block.
Have had for several weeks and all are starting to push out new growth :fc:
Would like to know if the lime green is the same species and what to do with gnarly :lost:
Regards John

Hi Boom , i believe 1 is a Black cypress pine , the other is the White cypress pine .I may stand corrected , but if you do a google you will find the correct Botanical names then post them up . Cheers Alpineart
