I dug this Olive(African variety - the same as the European one but with pea size fruits.) January 2010.

This is the tree after I have worked on it a bit two days ago:

Any advice or comments on the proposed front, the use of the deadwood or not, the "tree" to the left, the lowest growth on the right and the branches/trunks of the main tree will be appreciated.

I think there is a lot of potential there. The only thing i would change for now is I would remove the lowest jin completely as it crosses the main trunk at a odd angle which disrupts the flow of the design.

I love the spooky vibes coming from this tree! :tu: Only thing I would do is reduce the height of the 'tree' on the left so that it fits with the outline of the rest of the tree, and I second what robc said and do away with the lowest jin. Great tree! :2c:

This is how the tree will look with all the Jins removed:

For now I will let the tree recover after the first cut back.

Thanks for the advice and comments.
