Is this a good soil mix???

Hey,just wondering if 1 part ziolite,1 part river sand,1 part good quality soil mix would be suitablw for my elms i have?

That mix would certainly work. I don't use that amount of ziolite. I use about 25% of ziolite in my mix and it works very well. The ziolite is excellent for retaining water and fertilizer.
