Eucalyptus marginata & Corymbia calophylla

Hi Guys,

I know this is probably a stupid question, but am curious as to whether anyone has made an attempt on doing a bonsai on the infamous Jarrah and Marri tree's?

I understand something of this nature would take a very very long time to grow, but just how long would it take to see some impressive results?
It just seems impossible to find any information or images on the net of anyone attempting this. It would be one hell of a challenge.

Any thoughts or information on any known Bonsai's?

I recently got six young Eucalyptus Marginata (jarrah) trees about one to three years old and I am struggling to find information, did you end up finding any information about these trees for bonsai?

I would initially start by treating them like any other Euc or Corymbia unless you see otherwise.

they can be cut back hard and this will force them to backshoot, and during the resultant bud break, they can be repotted and root pruned.

take some photos of them and post here and keeps us up to date
