Azalea Garden Dig Volunteers - Sydney

Gday,
I've been offered 2 Azaleas from a garden in Sydney (somewhere just across the river from 5 Dock) and I'm wondering if any kind souls out there would like to dig them, chop them down to manageable size (presently they are 2m high X 2.5m wide) and post them down to me.

I've been looking for azaleas like this for a long time. Apparently Azaleas are very shallow rooted and easy to dig.

If there's anyone out there, don't hesitate to PM me.

Thanks

they will cost a pretty penny to post to Geelong, Even tho thye are shallow rooted, you are much better to get as big as you can root mass and just the stumps of a shrub that size will be quite large and heavy. Better would be to find someone heading down in a car, Maybe the digger can pot up for you and care for them till they can get someone to run them down to you.

I did one about that size it was easy to dig out but it took two men to lift onto 6x4 trailer.

Thanks for the replies Ken and Damo,
Now that sounds more sensible, anyone out there keen to dig them and hang onto them until next time I'm in Sydney?
