Hey guys, like I said previously, Andrew and Juan, seeing as how you are from Africa, have you guys had anything to do with the Juniperus Africana, I have a few plants propagated from cuttings and recently looked it up on the net, what a magnificent tree, do you know of any that have been done as a Bonsai or has anyone else here done the same ??

They look the goods to me from those pics, foliage looks like it can become tight, bark looks good, interested to see how they go as bonsai, i dont think they are to common over here so i would hold onto those ones you have! if they are still young and very pliable i would wire in some heavy twists and turns to as much as you dare, in a few years you could have a few nice shohin size naturally contorted looking yamadori style juni

Never seen those in South Africa. Had a look on the net and they seem to come from Algeria and Morocco. That'a a bit far for a yamadori for me!
