I snapped this whilst on a holiday on Long Island QLD . I assume its a Mangrove .I does look remarkably similar to the Phantoms Cave
Cheers AlpineartHi kvan , no i wasn't thinking of collecting it ,i just love the power of Mother Nature .The base on it was about 600-700mm and stood around 3 M high .Cheerskvan64 wrote:Looks very interesting. How big is it. Was you thinking of collecting it? Thanks for sharing.

Hi Tman , i was a magic looking base , if i could carve something like this i would wrap a juni' into it for sure .It did inspire me to think of carving a similar hollow into a River Red Gum .Never know i may just find the time one day.Cheers AlpineTman wrote:Nice piece of driftwood Alpine. Would look good with a Juniper snaking around it.
