Just started doing pottery again, am learning hand building and wheel throwing, to add extra artistic value rather than my old slipcasting days, thought I would give you a look at a pot i made a couple of weeks ago, it has been bisqued ( first low fired ) it is red raku hand building clay and the pics show it with the raw glaze on it, ready to be glaze fired ( final mid temp fire ), the glaze is one i made up back in the 1990's an Oatmeal colour when fired, I shall post pics when it has been final fired, if anyone is interested.

About an hour Jamie, the pot was shaped freehand from a slab piece about 10mm thick, and I made the feet from press molding them out of an earlier pot mold I had made back in the 90's. and just slip glued them on.

No mate, I am still waiting for it to be glaze fired. Will post it up again when it is finished and I find a suitable tree for it, thanks for your comment, cheers
