simo, I had 8 of these all healthy and growing well. Then the wind came along. Only one ive got left is in the ground. Try to get some wind protection.

this one and one of my others are just looking close to death because it lost some roots when i found it, are they hardy like other figs? cheers

This post is a timely reminder that we need to check out the sunniest spots in many of our southern winter gardens, one that are also sheltered from the wind.

I have a sandpaper fig and it has made excellent progress in the past 12 months ... but it does sulk in Adelaide over winter ... you have reminded me that LAST YEAR it spent winter in the shelter of a poly-house!
