Hello All,

As a relative newby, today I made my first attempt at creating a Kengai Juniperus Procumbens Nana Bonsai from Nursery stock. When I dabbled in bonsai more than some ten years ago I imported this beautiful pot from Japan and I have kept it with me all this time thinking of a day when I would start the process of creating a beautiful bonsai. In the end I think I did reasonably well to begin with but would like some advice as to how I should style the head and branch positioning. I intend to strengthen the curve midway down the main trunk, but softly. As you can see I started making a jin and for which some suggestions would also be great.

mate beatiful pot....I am no expert..
but I suggest trying to replicate to a degree the curves of the dragon on the pot...while the juniper is still young. Nice effort though.
Cheers Gott 8-)

Thanks Gott,

Never even occured to me to replicate the curves in the dragon..fantastic idea and I think it would help to create a powerful symmetry between the plant and the pot.

Cheers
