One of the first thing i did when i get into bonsai is buying seedling.
as you all know. usually beginner are not as patience. So i went out to buy some trident seedling grow it on a big growing box. and not long after that. 2 months??....(lack of patience).... i created this forest. and it has been in that pot for around 24months. i neglected the forest. didn't have passion. i actually thought that when i neglected em. it will end up in the gardening bin.

recently i took a look at it. and i was like thinking. i should fuse it to make a better look. (hopefuly)

remove em from the pot. didn't cut any roots. but might have lost some when i move it.
wired em together and tie em up and this is what i come up with.
im not fuss about the pot yet. will plant to the ground this weekend.
I will have to tighten the gaps before moving to the ground.

Hi Dumper , that looks very natural , if you coil the wire close down low on the trunk you get a better fusion of the trunks .I have tested many methods over the last season and a lot of unfused trunks appeared as they were wrapped or tied to far apart or to loose and the cables dug in leaving unsightly swelling .It was hit and mis , but now i will use string and wire over the top .Cheers Alpine

I was thinking of using super glue to help in holding everything together. and secure it with wire and the sting thingy.
not sure if that will help. but worth a try.

Hi John tridents fuse within months in the growing season if wrapped tight . I use thick string because its cheap and easy to use . The wire makes sure it will hold firm until i fuses .Super glue might be toxic ? Cheers
