These are the latest addition to my Yamadori collection .With the help of a good mate who worked on a sub-division of some large acreage allotments in the North East .

Being employed by the Boss and Owner of the allotment

Linden had a quiet word in his ear and the approval was given

.

Originally an 13 Tonne excavator was on site but i had to use a pick instead

not that i minded doing the hard yards . With the rocky terrain is was simply a matter of prizing the rocks out until i reached the fiberous root mass which would keep the little treasures alive

.In a couple of hours i collected a few good trees

, i expect 95% of them to survive

WoW!!
Any chance you could re-size and re-upload those shots. I want a close look, but them being over 2 mb rules me out on my slow net.

We're covered in black cypress here, do the make interesting trees? I've been around them so long they just look like weeds to me.

Hi Tenka , i think they might be White Cypress around Wagga . Callitris Glaucophylla White cypress pine .Yes they make fantastic Bonsai , not used enough in Aus hoping to stimulate a few Artists into trying them on for size .There is a couple of post reguarding the White Cypress Pine on the forum .Cheers Alpine
