Hi all
i am planning to buy a few radiata pine trees with a trunk size of 2cm wide. is it still possible to fuse 3 pines together?

yes it will still be possible to fuse them, you just may find it a little hard to wrap/braid them together with the trunk size, normally they are planned from a younger age and grown on, and on, and on!
you have to remember that with three 2cm trunks you will get about a 4cm trunk, so heavy wiring, raffia, and spine wires (where you run the wire up the trunk vertically to strengthen and hold the bending) will be needed, a straight trunk with braided trunks might not look right, it will be better suited to a informal upright!

They have to be grown with vigor to fuse John. If you embed wire in the assembled trunks the fusing will be speedy.
