No Ron, the Bonsai Study Group is a bonsai club established 15 years ago and its membership is mainly from the North Shore of Sydney. Will you be there?

Hi John,

Thanks for your reply. At this time, it's highly unlikely I'll be able to get there, however, I wish you all the success with the show.

Most of the show trees are being prepared as we speak. There will be very advanced trees, some moderate trees and of course some beginners trees. Everybody is able to display as it is a Show for all club members. There will be a very small tree with a magnifying glass supplied and visitors will be encouraged to pick this one up to examine it. I had a nice pyracantha with lots of red berries............this morning there were two berries left.........I might display the carcass of the possum responsible if I can find him. Next year a wire cage will be built to keep the little **************s out.

Show kicks off at 10.00am Saturday

Only 48 hours to go and we are way with the 14th Show. It would appear that Pat is bringing enough eggs for everybody. At least enough for the Tapner household.............
Keeping the moss damp, the pots clean ( I use shoe polish or WD40) and keep posting and posting to hold the subject matter at the top of the page.
And after all this there is another small Show in the Bankstown region............ :D

Twas a good Show and I'm beat!!!! For those that came especially from the South Coast and the Central Coast Club at Gosford many thanks. Its amazing that it takes about 3 to 4 hours to set the hall up and get the trees in place and then on closing, about one hour and the hall is cleared ready for the Church Group on Sunday morning. A good coordinated effort from all. Ray Nesci and Pat Kennedy reported good sales and Pat left for home about 3.30am for the drive back to Adelong to do another firing for the next show next weekend.

Thanks everybody...................

G'day John,

Glad to hear that the show went smoothly and our bonsai businessman friends made some sales.
Sorry I couldn't make it this time - hopefully next year!
Any chance on sharing some pictures with us?

Regards,
Steven
