Bough this today for $6.
I am thinking I could get a second tree out of it, or 3 smaller trees.
It's about 2.5 - 3ft tall.
Any ideas.

in a grow box or in the ground for a while champ, i am pretty sure they grow quite quickly so it wouldnt be long before you are pulling it up again, wire some movement into it though, exagerate the movement now as when it grows it will thicken and will look smoother. you could also do chop backs to induce taper.
but definately needs to be grown on for a bit :D

How would I go about getting it to push more growth in the middle? It doesn't seem to have as much going on there as it does at the top and bottom?

cut the top back mate, that should force growth down lower, if its going in a grow box or in the ground though i wouldnt be to concerned as you will get a plethora of new growth everywhere.

Thanks for the tips.
I don't really have a yard so it wont be going in the ground, so I will get a grow box or big pot for it to go into.

yep that will do the job mate :D

you will find that these things will put on quite a lot of girth quite quickly. im pretty sure, not an expert in natives at all but from what i have seen of some eucs, they put on size well. and quick.

feed it some good native ferts and get it going and you will be good, i am pretty sure they like a lot of water too!
