A few I am currently working on.

The first is a Elaeocarpus reticulatus and is first time in a Bonsai pot thus the angle. Next time will be in a Australian made pot and the correct orientation.
The second is a Cassurina.
The thrird is a Acacia.

Hi Peter.
How tall is the Blueberry Ash? I haven't seen any that look as mature as yours. How long have they been in training?
The dimensions of the others would be good to know too. I also like the sheoak.
Penny.

Hi Penny,

The Blueberry ash has been in training for 3 years. I dug it up from my fathers vege patch on the south coast. This year I defoliated completly in October before repotting

The dimentions are:

Blueberry ash 700mm H x 600mm W its looking for a good pot.

Acacia 800mm L x 500 W

Cassurina 650mm x 500mm

Jon

The Cassurina is stiil in training so hieght is not set yet. I have other ones I am trying to combine into a setting along similar lines to Robert Steven Ausbonsai Header. This one may be part of that setting.

I like the acacia howitii. Going along very nicely. Do you find trouble with the Blueberry Ash keeping the foliage close to the trunk? A mate has a larger one and it appears to be a constant battle to keep the foliage from doing more than decorating the tips of the branches.

Hi Peter,

Any chance on an update of these trees? I'd really like to see how they are going 2.5 years on. I'm particularly interested in the Casuarina and the Casuarina group that you made mention of.

Regards,
Steven
