Just came across this link on another forum. Looks to be a handy tool for easily resizing pics before loading them onto the forum. Good thing is it does it without changing the size of the original:
Image Resizer
This PowerToy enables you to resize one or many image files with a right-click.

(About the 10th 'toy' down the page.)

paint.net is a simple program to use and it has resize options and cropping, plus if you want to adjust lighting and contrast etc. it is easy to do it all in one go, and then it can be saved as a resized pic in any format you like and you still have the large original.

i have been using this tool for quite some time and it is very handy for fast and easy resizing, i believe i have a tool that behaves exactly the same way (clone) on my desktop which is running windows 7, i will look into it and update this thread with a download link!

This is a great tool for resizing pics on the fly, especially for quick pm's and stuff like that. I've been meaning to share with everyone. I've got a link somewhere for win7 version.
Thnks for posting it Ron
