Just wanted to share some of my trees.
These are some of my Junipers since starting bonsai in 2006. Hope you enjoy 'em.

nice work mate i love what you have done with the cascades they wouldnt be far of a pot would they? i think the informal upright could possibly have its branches shortened, but overall it good, maybe just a tweak here and there and shorten a couple of branches and its on its way

Great to see some of your trees. I would also recommend taking up Leigh on his offer. Good trees deserve good photos.

Your cascades are really really nice, very well balanced and the jig in the trunk on #1 is beautiful.
I would like to comment on #3, the upright. To me you have a stunning tree inside that bonsai. The trunk is wonderful and really speaks to me. I feel there's too much going on and taking attention away from the trunk and the trunk deserves far more top billing than to be overwhelmed by greenery. If it were my tree I would get out the Old White Rag and roadtest options of modifying the top, cleaning it up at bit but only to allow more presence for the trunk. I don't see this as a major redesign but to me you have far better in that tree than you have so far discovered. The balance is so nice that you wouldn't need to lose much to gain more. Naturally this is just a suggestion but do get out the Old White Rag and see what the tree might be whispering to you. But you also have an obvious bar branch tho the photo could be the culprit. Can it be wired further to the back so it doesn't show at the trunk?

Hi everyone, thank you for all the wonderful comments. Appreciate all your feedback.

Jamie- The measurements on trees are as follows,
mini cascade- from top of crown to bottom of tail is approx 22 cm and at its current angle from soil to top of crown approx 9 cm.
cascade- from top to bottom approx 45 cm and from soil to top of crown approx 16 cm.
informal juni- approx 24 cm height from top of pot and about 24 cm wide also.

Dayne and Jamie- I am trying very hard not to put the mini cascade in a pot and would realy like to wait till spring . The bigger of the two, well I haven't got a pot for it will likely do so in spring if I find the right pot. The ideal pot for me for it is roughly same size as the black container its in now.

Jarrod- as far as balancing the energy on the cascade I try to work on the tree in the same way you would treat pines. As you can see from about the top half of tree it looks more fuller than the bottom half of the tail. I pinch this part of the tree a bit more frequently and leave the tail to build up a bit more. I will be letting the bottom half grow through out the next coming season and just maintain the top till the tree looks equaly healthy from top to bottom.

Leigh- I know your only around the corner and I have been meaning to bring them over but getting there alone is a.. well you know let alone with the trees. I hope to bring them over soon .

MelaQuin- Thanks for your suggestion and yes there is bar branching in the middle part of the tree. As Leigh mentioned, my camera doesn't realy give the tree justice. I am however happy with the tree as it is my first "real success" in bonsai and will keep it this way for now but will certainly consider your suggestion if I ever decide to redesign the tree. Thank again.

Hey Leigh,

No its none of these trees I posted. I nearly lost that tree due to me being so impatient. I lost some branches and 2/3 of the trunk is dead wood now which I carved over a month ago. I'll post a picture of what it looked like at the show and what it looks like now as soon as I can.
