Plums throw up lots of dead straight suckers around their base which are pretty useless for bonsai. Here is my attempt do something with one. This is the first time it has flowered. Cheers,

Hey thanks Simon.
In a way I think the idea came from this famous tree: I liked the idea of making something with a dead straight trunk.
Do I keep elaborating the branch of my one like this maple? Or do I keep it more bunjin like?
