Diselma archeri, Dwarf Pine or Chestnut Pine, looks to be worth a try. Not so many seeds of this one but I'll still try a few different germination methods to give them their best chance. :fc:

Interesting one. The foliage looks quite Shimpaku-like.

I will be following your journey with interest. I was given a small starter 18months ago and so far it seems to be coping here in the Hunter Valley. Slow growing it definitely is with almost no change in size over the last growing season, I just went and had a closer look and it has pushed a strong new shoot of about 3" 🤞 it means it has adjusted to my microclimate.
Currently it's in a standard 6" plastic pot and gets full sun till about 1pm after that it's heavy shade from a neighbour's overhanging tree.

Thank goodness someone can grow these, Elmer, and yes, they looked promising.

I've had no sigh of germination on my control seeds or in the pots.

Very disappointed, no germination from the seeds from Tas (won't be buying there again).

Plenty of seeds were supplied so I tried a few different germination methods with no success from any of them. Could be "The Universe" telling me not to start such a potentially long-term project at this stage.....let's face it, I don't even buy green bananas these days. >

Please withdraw my entry.

Oh no, hang in there ... still got 5 years. Why not try one more batch, maybe the universe isn't watching?!
