VNBC show

There was a small but excellent show along with the symposium last weekend, all of a high standard, and most large. There were some trees ramified into tight foliage pads:

I don't normally like highly decorated pots, but this Chinese dragon pot matched perfectly with the complicated fig:

There were a number of trees pruned with far more open foliage, and a rich, complex arrangement of leaves and branches that I particularly enjoyed:

I assume that they'll have the full list on their website when they recover from putting the show on. The fine-leaved Kunzeas and Melaleucas in particular showed just how much satisfying detail can be created in a small tree, rather than the usual topiary-clipped "green helmet".

Yeah 28, 18 and 20 look nice.
