Melaleuca glomerata - Desert Honey Myrtle
Seed sourced from Nindethana Seeds
Note: 10 grams of any Melaleuca seed is WAY too many for a comp like this
Sown 31-7-24 in standard seed raising mix. No pretreatment.

I've had to look up lots of the species you're using, Dave - most are new to me. I like the (hopefully future) flowers on this one.

Yeah I like to be a bit different. I imagine I'll start a few more species yet, but then cull them down as some won't grow well in my climate and others just won't grow in a way that makes them suitable for what I'm trying to do. All just one big experiment really, so we will see what happens.

We have lift off

The little seedlings are thick, I'm going to have to thin a lot out, but that's how most of my seed sowing exercises end up

Got a reasonable strike of these guys. The seeds came from two packets from the same place, each batch look different as seedlings so not sure what I've got going on at the moment.
