Seeds from an eBay seller.
1:1 coir and perlite mix, vermiculite topping, sown this weekend.

These have not been hugely successful. A couple of tiny seedlings appeared after a month, then didn’t budge for the last 2-3 months. Possibly something to do with the coir used in my mix? I used the same seller a year ago without issues, but that was in summer and the seed may have been fresher.

Repotted yesterday. I’m not holding my breath but will report back if they survive.

These are my only survivors (and as you can see, shortly this will be my sole survivor). I was wimpy and didn't stem cut as I've done with this species before.
I don't think I've done anything differently in comparison to when I had a bumper crop from the same seed supplier 12 months earlier, except that I planted the previous crop out later in the year. Even so, growth has been weak this year for both these and the last year's crop. Possibly a microclimate thing, lots of heat waves this year.
