Leptospermum brachyandrum 'jack frost'
This is a delightful species. Its very, very hardy. It has no issues with being water logged. Its fine with drought, and has no problems with myrtle rust.
Thanks to 'kirky' on here, I was able to find a place to purchase some seedlings.
This was the result of the best seedling of those.
Its new growth in Spring looks like little bits of frost that have developed so I see where it gets its name. The foliage is really pretty and obviously the weeping branches are a winner too. When you water it, the foliage instantly turns to a very bright green colour. Its a beautiful tree to grow.
