thought this might be a interesting topic . I'm defiantly no Pat Kennedy expert but in the last 20 years of bonsai i had come across a few of his pots. I was fortunite at one time to grab what i believe was deemed some of his "seconds" now this term i cant confirm it was what i got passed on from Cambewarra bonsai that i believe Pat knew the owners. If Pat is still around here im sure he can shed some light of this.
I had at one point about 20 of these pots but over the years many found new homes and some of my last ones went recently. I have kept what is basically one of my favorite pots Pat ever made IMO.
The feet, the shape, the glaze and that lip. You might not like it but i love it

One of my first Pat Kennedy pots, an investment in my opinion.

I think any Pat Kennedy pot is my favourite PK pot, I love them all!
He really set the standard for Australian bonsai potters in terms of quality and aesthetic and his pots do that magic trick of complementing the trees without distracting from them.
Unfortunately I am a bit too young to have been around when Pat was travelling around and selling his wares, but luckily I did manage to pickup a set of 4 shohin sized pots off ebay several years ago and I am very grateful to have them.

I would love to see any other PK pots and their trees out there in the wild if anyone wants to post some pics of them here….
