I have this plum which I have been training in weeping style . At first it was easy to train the branches down by using guy wires to bring them down . Now , there are far to many branches to do this . Luckily for me I saw a trick that KCAR did on a melaleuca . It’s a bit of an experiment so I will see how it goes.

I find it easier when you have a lot of branches like thsi, to keep it in an orchid pot, and use the holes to simply anchor down each branch you want. Takes me less than an hour to do a fairly large fig.

But much easier with orchid pots because of the endless holes and slits.
