Are the images of the same tree?

I’m waiting on all mine to leaf out (in Melbourne).

They back bud.

Is there still green when you scratch away the bark? If there is still some green when you scratch the bark leave it 'til spring but keep the water up to it. It will probably leaf out in spring if it's not totally dead. I see you water it with drippers. Swampies like to stand in a saucer of water, they are almost impossible to drown. :fc:

Now would be a good time of year to repot swampy in Australia.
Repotting won't do any further harm. If the tree is still alive it will grow better after a repot. If it's already dead you'll only have wasted a bit of time and some soil.
I'd go ahead and repot soon.

It looks like it's got buds coming, so yes, repot it sooner rather than later. Give it a warm place to recover, slowly building it up to full sun in a couple of weeks.
