Hi All,
I have a friend who has a self-sown tree in her garden and would like to know what it is so she can determine whether to let it grow larger or whether it will become a problem. Below are 3 pics of it. The pink flowers are not from the tree. Sorry for the image quality, it was taken with my phone. Any help to I.D. it would be appreciated.
Thanks, Frank.

Looks a bit like a curry leaf tree, but the fruits aren't clustered the same, and the leaves look a little thicker.

I don’t think it’s a curry leaf tree, unless you were thinking of bay leaves? Maybe there are different types that I’m not aware of. The curry leaf tree I have doesn’t have alternating leaf arrangement and they’re much smaller and paler.

It might be a Glochidion zeylanicum (Umbrella cheese tree / Hong Kong abacus), at least according to an app.

Looks like Casearia sylvestris to me. Similar fruits from what you posted.

Thank you for your replies  . It looks like it is the glochidion zeylanicum.
Cheers, Frank.
