Lucky, lucky, lucky

In November last year a few members of the Goulburn Bonsai Society had the opportunity to dig a few Casuarina's.
All was going well for this little fellow until a big white cockatoo decided to land on the pot subsequently knocking it off the bench. I picked it up and put it back in the pot but in the next few days every that was green turned brown. I didn't hold out much hope but just recently a few bits of green appeared and so I think it will probably survive now.
Not sure if the tree is lucky or I am lucky?

Casuarina (most now classed as Allocasuarina) appear to be real survivors. They can put up with being uprooted, chopped, floods and being dry and still survive.
