Chinese Elm

I just re-potted this elm and gave it some new shoes. This was part of the Shohin comp a few years ago and it is still going OK. It will never be a Shohin because its a bit too big but it is still able to be held in one hand.

There is debate about sizes but competition sizes (from what I understand) are:-
Ogata - over 45 cm and usually shown in a two point display
Chuhin - 25 to 45 cm and usually shown in a three point display
Shohin - up to 20 cm
So if you have a bonsai 21 cm to 24 cm you are in no ones land (that's politically correct for no mans land).
