Just starting a progression thread for this swampy. This is its first year of refinement, any tips are welcome. I am curious as to if i should defoliate this tree as winter is coming to a close here in Brissy soon an it still hasnt lost all its leaves, some of them are still green as you can see.

I have a swampy that still holds onto its leaves and still has some green leaves, the difference it that where I live winter is certainly not nearly over (-5 deg this morning) so I wouldn't worry about and let nature take it course.

Last year my swampy's leaves turned a rusty brown on much of the tree. This year they've all stayed a healthy green colour, and although it's still been growing all winter it was slower than summer. Just let it go with the flow.

Awesome swampie! I'm keen to see the progression of this one. It's a beauty!
